What does it take for a woman’s life to be transformed?
At Wellspring for Women the ingredients are the unconditional love of God, compassion, the desire to change, and a return to the basics. It also requires a dedicated staff, support of friends, family, and community, as well as the ability to provide for the most basic physical needs of the students. It has been the mission and desire of WSFW from the beginning to offer this program free of charge, providing totally for the physical, spiritual, emotional and mental needs of each student without bias to her background or financial situation. Beyond the basic $50 application fee the student pays nothing. We have estimated that it costs approximately $1500 per month per student to provide the necessary food and shelter and to cover basic operating expenses. So where does the funding come from? Wellspring is a faith- based ministry. We receive no funding from the government. The financial backbone of this ministry is our partners. They are churches, civic organizations or any one interested in the transformation of women’s lives for God's glory.
